February 24 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm PST

Learn how to draw birds from the award-winning artist and author who literally wrote the book on the subject!

Saturday, 2/24/24, Live online, 10 am–12 noon Pacific*

Join award-winning artist, author, educator, and scientist John Muir Laws for a 2-hour live online class where he will share his best tips and tricks for drawing birds learned through his 35 years of teaching and illustrating. A widely respected avian artist, John Muir Laws (aka Jack) is continually refining his bird drawing techniques, and this class will include his latest ideas and tips to help you capture birds on paper.

Jack is the author of the Laws Guide to Drawing Birds (more than 60,000 copies sold), which includes an introduction by respected author and bird artist David Allen Sibley. In that intro, Sibley wrote: “I wish this book had been available to me when I was starting out, because it is filled with tips and tricks that took me decades to learn.”

All ages and levels welcome!

FREE but registration required. Suggested donation: $25. This is a fundraiser for the Wild Wonder Micro Grant Program, which will debut this year.

*Can’t make it live? No problem. Sign up anyway, and Wild Wonder will email you a link to the class recording about one week later.
