Learn to Draw Owls!

Learn to draw owls in this fun two part workshop. This class is a fundraiser for our upcoming project to supply the children at the Amani Orphanage in Tanzania with nature journaling supplies, teach them how to sketch their local wildlife and bring them on thier first Safai expedition to Tarangarie National Park.

Celebrate Owl-o-ween and learn “owl” about drawing these magnificent, mysterious, and majestic raptors of the night in this 2-part live online class with award-winning artist, scientist, and master educator John Muir Laws (aka Jack), author of The Laws Guide to Drawing Birds.

  • All ages and experience levels are welcome!

Jack will explain key parts of owl anatomy to help you draw them more accurately, and he will demonstrate his latest techniques on how to draw owls from various angles.

Sunday, October 30, 2022, Owl Feathers and Eyes

Jack will share tips and techniques to help you capture feather textures and make those mesmerizing owl eyes come alive.

These classes are free, and we encourage you to please make a donation of $25 or more to support a special Wild Wonder Foundation project that will bring the joy of nature journaling to children from Amani, an orphanage in Tanzania. Learn more.
