Ecuador birds Jack's journal share

Accessable to anyone, The Bird of the Month Drawing Club is a welcoming comminity with which to share your bird art and find inspiration and motivation.

Join Melanie, Aaron, and Jack to learn about the Bird of the Month Drawing Club.

The Bird of the Month Drawing Club sends out a monthly call and a Google Form to the community and everyone who wants to participate submits a drawing of a bird they saw that month (for the first time this year.) They have folks ages 6-80+ participating and every month get an amazing spread of birds and styles from around the world.

Bonus lesson: Jack will demonstrate some tips for drawing birds from a rear 3/4 view with a focus on the tricky far side wing…

Melanie Schrage and Aaron Sebens have been helping learners of all ages connect to the natural world through art and ecology for more than two decades. They founded and ran an outdoor school in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, and currently live in North Carolina where Melanie is a preschool director and Aaron is a director of Advanced Academics in an elementary school.

All ages and experience levels are welcome. No registration is necessary.
