Join me for this fun, engaging, and empowering class on drawing and painting “happy little trees” in your nature journal—in honor of Bob Ross’ birthday (he would have been 81 on Oct 29). In this 2-hour live online class, you will learn how to draw trees in all their forms—individual trees, blocks of trees, and far off trees as part of a larger landscape. I will demonstrate my best tips and techniques—using pencil, watercolor, and gouache—for drawing trees that he I have learned through my 35 years of teaching, illustrating, and journaling. (Bonus: My Bob Ross action figure will also make an appearance!)

All ages and levels welcome. All those registered for the class will receive an email with a link to join the class, which will be held on Zoom. We will also email registered participants a link to a recording of the class after it is over (within approximately one week). So please sign up even if you are not able to attend live!

Please make a tax-deductible donation of $25 or more if you are able when you register. This is a fundraiser to support Wild Wonder Foundation’s Micro Grant Program, which will debut in 2024.
