I love this flat water brush and it is a part of my nature journal kit. The cool thing about this brush is that it is three brushes in one. First, it is a flat chisel brush, which is really useful for trees, skies, and lots of other things. Second, it has a removable tip which makes the brush longer, so it is more like a large mop brush. Third, if you twist the little cap, the brush fans out into a multi-pointed “punk squirrel tail,” great for texture. This versatile brush is wonderful for texture patterns, random leafy shapes, instant conifers, really cool skies, and so much more….plus it reduces the number of brushes I need to carry in the field.
