Tour of the John Muir Archive & A Day of Nature Journaling

July 20, 2012 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

$25

Join this special Friends of the Lower Calaveras River Riverwalk to view John Muir’s writings and other archived materials at the University of the Pacific Library. The library staff will provide guided activities along with opportunities to view Muir’s work—notebooks, sketchbooks, photos and writings—housed in the Holt Atherton collection. After being inspired by John Muir’s work, join me for a day of Nature Journaling on the Calaveras. This all day FLCR Riverwalk is limited to 20 participants. Free parking close to the site will be available. We will enjoy a potluck lunch. If you are currently a K-12 teacher at a school district within the Calaveras watershed email the coordinator about a special deal for teachers and students. Register.
