September 28, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm PDT
Learn how to draw the moon and understand its phases. John Muir Laws will demonstrate how to draw the moon in its different phases, Discover key seas and craters that are visible with binoculars or a small telescope.
Join the Nature Journal Club in an international moon observation on the night of September 29th. This is the first last-quarter moon after the equinox. We will all draw the moon and its orientation to the ground as it rises at midnight to share in an international zoom meet-up on the 30th. Learn how the moon shows your latitude!
Stick around at the end of the meeting for a lively group journal share and conversation. All ages and experience levels are welcome. No registration is necessary, If you are new to Zoom or are having trouble with the meeting controls, please see these notes and suggestions on Zoom Tips for Online Classes with John Muir Laws to help you get more out of the online workshop.
