Baylands and the Foster Museaum Fieldtrip

Join the Nature Journal Club for a day of nature journaling in marshes bordering San Francisco Bay. We will explore the wetlands sketching waterfowl and bay views. Bring your journaling supplies, binoculars, a spotting scope if you have one, and a treat to share during our potluck lunch. You can leave your food bowls and spoons in the vehicles as we will return to the parking area near lunchtime. After lunch we will drive a short distance to The Foster, a nature art museum celebrating the watercolor diaries of Tony Foster. Docents will be on hand to guide us through the halls or you can go at your own pace. I like to try to copy effects that I like such as how to draw rocks, water and skies.
