How to Draw Hawks and Other Raptors

falcon chest 2Raptor migration season has started in the Bay Area. Over the next several months, birds of prey will be flooding through our area and stopping to catch a snack on the way. At rest, raptors make great subjects to draw. Learning some of the basics of their anatomy, proportions, patterns and ecology will help you accurately and quickly draw them in the field. Join us for this free workshop step up your hawk and eagle drawings.

We will also explore fast sketching techniques on toned paper. Bring a white Prismacolor pencil and a piece of toned gray or brown paper, see description of toned paper here.
