How to Teach Nature Journaling: Berkeley

Nature journaling is a powerful way to combine science, art, and language arts. Learn the strength of using this kind of science notebook and lessons learned in teaching journaling to students from elementary to adults. Discover simple techniques to engage students (even the ones who say “I can’t draw). We will also explore how to evaluate and give feedback to students that reinforces your educational goals and stimulates students to use their journals in increasingly creative ways.
A great overview for teachers, students in education programs, and home school, outdoor, or informal science educators. This event is free and open to the public.
