Peters Creek Falls Fieldtrip
February 25 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Visit a Hidden Waterfall…
Join the nature journal club for a day of exploration and journaling in nature. Today we visit Peters Creek Falls and explore the forests along Skyline Blvd.
The hike is fairly easy though the trail is rough, approximately 2 miles round trip. Bring water, appropriate clothing, journaling supplies, a bowl, spoon, and a potluck treat to share. Make sure it is portable, we will carry our lunch into the woods in backpacks.
Meet in the Long Ridge Open Space Preserve Trailhead parking lot near where the Grizzly Flat trails converge on Skyline Blvd., just east of the intersection with Portola Heights Road. There are no restrooms or water at the trailhead.
If rain is forecasted for the day of the field trip, the trip may be canceled or relocated to an indoor venue. Check the program description Sunday morning before leaving for updates and changes. The program is open to all ages and ability levels. No registration necessary.
$20 suggested donation.
