MLK Shoreline Nature Journal Fieldtrip

November 19 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Have you ever heard or seen a Clapper Rail?

This little endangered species romps in the marshes  at MLK Shoreline in Oakland. The open water is a great place to practice sketching shorebirds and ducks. Bring a spotting scope if you have one. The day will include technique demonstrations, natural history interpretation, time in the outdoors, a potluck lunch, and plenty of time to draw and write. This trip will include easy to moderate walking and is wheelchair accessible.

The program is open to all ages and ability levels. No registration necessary.

$20 suggested donation.
