The Secret of Interlocking Shapes (Saratoga)

Twisted, leaves, curled petals, resting mammals with folded legs, duck yoga- some complex shapes are difficult to see, understand, and draw. In these cases I return again and again to principles that simplify the subject and make them easier to transfer to paper. Learn how to use this technique to help you draw everything from iris petals to folded flamingos.

Bring a sketchbook and your favorite drawing materials. All ages and experience levels are welcome.  No registration necessary, $20 suggested donation.

This class will be held in room SM36 at West Valley College. The closest parking lot is lot #2. You can purchase a parking permit at the dispenser in the lot for $2. Download a campus map with the location of the classroom here.
