Olompali State Historic Park Nature Journal Field Trip

Note: this field trip is on the 1st of February, not the last Sunday in January.

Stroll below the oaks of Olompali park with your sketchbook in hand. We will explore a reconstructed Miwok village and oak natural history and look at simple and accessible ways of collecting lots of information about your discoveries in your journal. Bring portable potluck treat in your backpack to share as we will enjoy our lunch on the trail. After lunch we will continue to hike, sketch, explore, practice drawing oaks, and share our work. Bring a friend, everyone is welcome.
