Skulls Exhibit and the California Academy of Sciences Field Trip
November 23, 2014 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm PST$20
Note: this outing in not on the last Sunday of the month.
Join the Nature Journal Club to sketch and explore at the California Academy of Sciences on the last day of the Skulls exhibit. We will meet at the front gates of the Academy and make our way inside to sketch the Skulls exhibit, Rainforest and Aquarium.
At 11:00 AM I will teach a free workshop in the Academy’s classroom space on drawing skulls. You may join if you wish or keep sketching if you have found your flow. We will enjoy our potluck lunch near the baseball field behind the Academy at 12:30 PM weather permitting. If it is rainy, we will find a spot in the interior central courtyard.
It should be a great day to see, sketch, and wonder. If you are a member, please bring any guest passes you are willing to share with other families. Let us know on facebook if you have passes to share. We can get a group admission discount which will shave a few dollars off the cost of admission. If you would like to be included in the group price, fill out the poll on facebook.
