Let’s use a brush to create our values. Learn techniques with monochromatic watercolor and Tombo brush pens to create fast value studies. Bring paper brushes, watercolor, and gray value Tombo pens. Try an N95 (lightest), N75 (light), and an N65 (dark).

• Your Journal and favorite drawing materials. Taking notes while you watch and participate will help you remember the new techniques and incorporate them into your journaling.

• Bring paper brushes, watercolor, and gray value Tombo pens. I use a small set of three cool gray Tombo pens: N95 (lightest), N75, and N52 or N55 (both darker). 

• Download and print the lion skull worksheet before the class.
