A bird in the hand…

Virtual Event

September 25, 2025 @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am PDT

Alas a beautiful finch hit my window and died. Let’s see what we can learn from it and how to prevent future strikes.

Carolyn found a female House Finch that hit our window and died. Let’s respectfullyuse it to learn about bird feather groups, foreshortening, and wings. Let’s also take a look at ways to protect other birds from window strikes. I am sorry this beautiful creature needlesly died. I hope to learn from it and initiate a system to protect other birds near my house. All ages and experience levels are welcome. No registration is necessary.
