How to use Gouache in your Nature Journal

GBHe gouache 12Gouache is an opaque water based paint. You can use it as a stand alone method to add color to your nature journal or as a supplement to a watercolor kit. When used on toned paper, it creates bold highlights and a dynamic value range. In this workshop, we will explore field tested techniques to add gouache to your journaling game. Learn the challenges of working with this medium and how to get around them. This is a hands on workshop and you will have a chance to try it yourself. Bring your watercolor palette and receive a complementary dollop of white gouache. If you attended the palette party. Bring your new set of paints and get ready to play. If you requested a palette but could not make the palette party, I will bring your finished palette the day of the class.
